BIBBY DISTRIBUTION has bought part of the software firm that supplies the system it uses to run its warehouses The part of Data Driven Software purchased by Bibby will be located in a new facility in Stratford.
As well as using it to provide IT for its own operations, Bibby plans to enter the software market by doing business with other operators.
Bibby IT director Robert Lee says the acquisition will allow it to invest in the warehouse-management software, which it sees as a "cornerstone for our ongoing growth and development':
