• Pagid, the German brake lining manufacturer, is looking to increase its share of the truck aftermarket by helping operators with braking problems. The company says its expertise in selecting the right lining material for each vehicle application alleviates many braking problems.
The company says it already has a good penetration with PCVs where it is helping operators overcome braking problems caused by stop-start city work. Pagid manufactures four lining materials containing asbestos and eight without and is an OE supplier to Iveco Ford. and Leyland Dal.
It says it can supply replacement linings for 90% of the commercial vehicle pare and its prices are on a par with other European based friction manufacturers.
