Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BRS Engineering has joined forces with the Motor Agents Association to run a pilot workshop Quality Assurance Scheme which will operate at a number of the 130 BRS Engineering branches.

Each participating BRS workshop will check an agreed proportion of all vehicles passing through for service or repairs and will submit monthly summaries to the MAA.

Arrangements have also been made with the Freight Transport Association for participating workshops to have hi annual independent quality control inspections by FTA en, gineers.

Quality standards will be tested through vehicles prepared and submitted by local authority trading standards departments. They will have a number of built-in faults, and will form the basis of a regular monitoring programme for BRS' Engineering workshops.

LI The Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association has also teamed up with the Automobile Association in a drive to improve body repair standards.

Under the VBRA/AAapproved Body Repair Scheme, all VBRA members' facilities will be inspected by the AA.
