More Tankers for Gloster Saro Glostet Saro Ltd., a Hawker Siddeley company. has received an order from Regent Oil Co. Ltd. for 16 two-compartment articulated tankers and a single-compartment. glass-reinforced plastics tanker. The tankers will have a capacity of 5,000 gal, of fuel oil within a g.t.w. of 30 tons, and will be fitted with electrically-driven discharge pumps. The plastics tank is the first of its kind to he ordered by Regent and will be used for assessment purposes.

Huddersfield Buys Dempster Equipment: Huddersfield County Borough Council. using Dempster materials handling equipment, has launched a waste-disposal service for local industry. Worth E9,000, the Dempster equipment was made and supplied by Powell Duffryn Engineering Co. Ltd., of Cardiff. It comprises 40 8-cu.-yd. and two 5-cu.-yd. demountable containers and a DempsterDumpster handling unit on a Commer 7-ton chassis.
