New regulations concerning the speed limits of track-laying vehicles and vehicles drawing track-laying trailers are contained in The Motor Vehicles (Variation of Speed Limit) Regulations, 1937, dated September 7, and published at id. by H.M. Stationery Office. As they are not of general interest we would recommend those concerned to obtain a copy.

Cunard Motor's New Factory.

The Cunard Motor and Carriage Co., Ltd.. is about to move to an up-to-date factory at AbbeyrIa1e Road, Wembley, Middlesex. The change over has been necessitated by the rapid development of Cunard commercial bodywork, and the new factory will be equipped with the latest type wood-working machinery and well-lighted paint shops with the most modern cellulosing equipment.

The company will be known in future as The Cunard Commercial Bodywork Co., of which the 'proprietor will be the above company.

Resurfacing Nearly 2,000,000 Sq. Yds. of London's Roads.

Included in the programme of street works for the London traffic area for the next six months are several important schemes, one being the provision of dual carriageways on part of the Edgware Road. More roads are being resurfaced in the next six months than in any corresponding period since the compilation of such programmes was begun 13 years ago. The total area of carriageway to be resurfaced is 1,793,000 sq. yds., an increase of 64 per cent, on a year ago.

The work of the Northern Ireland Transport Board will be considered by the Northern Ireland Parliament, on Tuesday next, when a motion "that this House regrets the grievous loss to travellers and traders and the injustice to individuals caused throughout Northern Ireland by the operation of the Road Transport Act," is to be brought up.
