Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TESCO DISTRIBUTION is looking to base 462 vehicles and 418 trailers at its new food distribution centre in Imperial Way, Reading. The depot, which is on the old Courage Brewery site, on the boundary between Reading and Wokingham, is set to create 1,000 jobs.

Tesco says about 800 people have expressed an interest in working at the centre, which will service supermarkets across southern England. There will be jobs for warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors, and catering and maintenance workers.

A spokesman for Tesco said: “We want to invest in Reading and we believe the jobs will be a huge boost to the local community.

“We will work to target jobs at local people. We believe this proposal could make a significant contribution to the local economy.” The planning application, which has been approved by Reading Borough Council, includes associated offices, a vehicle maintenance unit, storage areas, access roads, servicing areas and parking spaces.
