Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PETERBOROUGH-based trailer manufacturer Lawrence David is seeking new premises to help it tackle a backlog of orders.

The company is hoping to find a 300-400m2 building with land in

the Peterborough area to develop as a trailer assembly site.

Sales director Chris Curzon explains that the axle shortage has made people place orders earlier, causing a backlog of orders through to May 2008.

'The demise of Boal lay has also meantwe've picked up some extra orders and so our order book is for in excess of 2,000 trailers," he adds. "We're quoting May completions for orders placed now which is too long, so we are looking to buy new premises."

The company is still suffering from a shortage of axles, although Curzon says this has eased.
