• GLYN; SAMUEL, the chairman of the Road Haulage Association and formerly chairman of Flowers Transport, has been appointed a Divisional Director of Harris-Reliance, the big new national distribution business within Transport Development Group.
Samuel will have responsibility for Special Projects within Harris-Reliance and will be based at a new office which the company has opened in York.
He will be relinquishing any part in the day-to-day running of Flowers Transport.
