ICC BUSINESS RATIOS last week brought out a business ratio report on Vehicle Rental and Leasing comparing the performance of 99 firms over three years.

The following are abstracts from the ICC "commentary": "Recent growth has seen the motor car business of the members of the Equipment Leasing Association rise from £57m in 1977 to £468m in 1979, while the commercial vehicle business increased from £114m to £225m. But the potential for further growth remains high, with some 80 per cent of all company vehicles still bought outright rather than through a leasing or hire arrangement."
