EIGHT additional ECMT permit will be available next year, an operators are being given unti the end of the month to appl. for them.
They will be offered to applica nts who have used bilaterz permits to make journeys t: Spain and Portugal, crossini France, or to Austria and Yugos lavia, via West Germany, pro vided they surrender some a the permits concerned in ex change for an ECMT permit.
They should apply to the Inter national Road Freight Office stating how many journeys the, have made in 1980, and hov many permits they are prepare: to surrender.
Applications should be math by November 21 to IRFO Westgate House, Westgati Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyni NE1 1TVV, marked "ECMT — fo the attention of Mr D. Anderson manager" in the top left-hanc corner of the envelope.
