INTRODUCED to the British market 1 in the earl' part of the year, the Opel is a product of the well-known German concern which is now under the control of the General Motors Corporation of America. With a pay-load capacity of 21.-tons, the long-wheelbase model is to be seen with a large van body. TransmisSion is by way of a dry single-plate clutch and four-speed gearbox to a spiral-bevel-type rear axle. Hand and foot brakes are interconnected to operate on all four wheels. In general, this is identical With the long-wheelbase chassis, a single propeller shaft and shorter frame being the only modifications of note. .
