Election fever

e have just had a month of general election fever and build-up. In that time I did not hear one item of complaint or questioning put to any politician of any party by either the RHA or PTA. or for that matter by any haulier.

Don't blame the next government, be it blue or red, or MPs when as a result of an unequal playing field in European transport many UK-based hauliers fall by the wayside over the next few years.

MJ Gardiner, Diss, Norfolk.

PS: In reply to the letter by Michael Daly of DT,S in this week's CM, I wrote to Nell Kinnock in May last year and have not had a reply yet, but I think he has a good idea in principle.
