COMA (Bilston) has been yarded £32,000 in settlement jainst Linktip of Wolverhamp)n for infringement of opyrig ht.
In a legal action, Acoma was aiming ownership of the )pyright in certain drawings reting to a design of underfloor :issor hoist.
These were alleged to have aen prepared by a director of nktip, Anthony Rose, at a time hen he was employed by coma.
It was alleged that by virtue of at employment, the copyright I these drawings belonged to coma.
As well as the settlement ased on the infringement, Inktip has also agreed to abanon the patent application relatig to the scissor hoist in queson which had been taken out in le name of Linktip Ltd.
Since the start of the action, inktip has carried out a re-deign and this design is not the ubject of any claim by ACOMd,
