PLANS by a former director of JDW Transport of Ipswich, Michael Noble to obtain a new psv operator's licence appear to have been frustrated, at least for the time be JDW went into liquidation last December, and Mr Noble formed a new company, Spiretext, trading as Euro-Way Coachlines, which applied for a new licence for three vehicles. The application led to a number of representations from other coach operators, and the Eastern ing.. Traffic Commissioners listed it for hearing on April 20.
That hearing was put off for seven days, but 24 hours before the case was due to be heard, Spiretext notified the commissioners of its intention to withdraw the application.
