The " 9006 " is constructed of heavily chrome-plated brass and incorporates a powerful general-purpose lamp and a red flashing obstruction-warning light. Steam Cleaner ANOTHER propane-fired steam cleaner has been introduced by Staples Engineering Ltd. The new model, the ST.60, is in principle the same as the Model ST.45 but instead of a h.p, electric motor a 98 c.c. propane gas engine drives the pump.

The engine is installed in a separate nacelle at the front end of the machine, providing complete weather protection with adequate accessibility for maintenance and starting. The use of propane gas as both the water heating medium and fuel for the pump-drive engine simplifies refuelling and is said to reduce expenditure compared with other types of steam cleaner.

Makers: Staples Engineering Ltd., Vansittart Estate, Duke Street, Windsor.
