British Manufacturers, Mr. L. A. W. Jenkins, will propose the toast of the Road Haulage Association, at the R.H.A.'s annual dinner at Grosvenor House on May 13. The national chairman, Mr. D. 0. Good, will reply, and the guests will be proposed by Mr. R. Clifford, a national vice-chairman. The reply will be by Viscount Simon, chairman of the Port of London Authority.
On the same day the outgoing national council will hold its last meeting and this will be followed by the Association's annual general meeting. On the following day, May 14, the new national council will have its inaugural meeting.
