Mr. Eenwick was employed in Dundee Transport Department from 1911 until 1929, when he became general manager and engineer to Bury Corporation, In 1932 he went to South Africa.

LORD His ST OF WITTO:i has been elected president for the coming year of the Federation of British Industries, in which, for some years, he has been chairman of the Empire Committee. He was born in 1863 and was one of the founders of the General Electric Co., Ltd., becoming managing director in 1900 and chairman in 1910.

SIR EDWARD HOLLAND, J.P., and SIR HENRY MAYBURY, G.C. B., K.C.M.G., C.B., have been appointed members of the London Passenger Transport Board for a further period of three years, on the expiration of their present appointments on May 17.

Sir Edward Holland represents Surrey County Council on the London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Committee, and he is chairman of the County Councils Association.

Sir Henry Maybury was formerly Director-General of Roads at the Ministry of Transport and, from 19241933, was chairman of the London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Com mittee. '
