Road user charging is coming in, ike it or not, and it is better to iccept the fact and ensure that we et a say in how and how much han to fight it and refuse it full stop. It was a mistake not to proceed vith the proposed lorry road user :harging system.All over the EU )ur partners are raking in money rom every truck that travels its • oads, no matter which country it s from, yet here we are losing our ndustry to those very same :ountries' transporters because hey are here with cheap diesel, :heap labour and trucks that we lave helped them purchase hrough European grants.

What we have to do is ensure hat the revenue from the charge s invested back into the transport .ysterns — and vehicles chucking )ut poisonous black smoke pay or the mistake of killing the )1anet we live on.
