Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRANSPORT Secretary Nicholas Ridley has launched an astonishing attack on British Ferries chairman James Sherwood over his plans to operate a Zeebrugge service.

In a letter to Shadow Transport Secretary Bob Hughes, Ridley says be does not want I lughes to be misled by a letter from Sherwood written to him last month.

Ridley says he had spoken personally to British Ferries' managing director and it is now clear that it wanted to run a freight-only service.

It is vital to know exactly what sort of service he plans to run if the Government is going to get the Belgian ban on British Ferries lifted.

"Mr Sherwood is not helping his case .. . I have tried very hard to help him, despite his intransigent behaviour."
