Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I AM most disappointed that you carried a photograph of a foreign truck engaged in snow clearance with the implication that it is one of the vehicles operating on our motorways (CM, February 22).

The 258 vehicles referred to are all rodeos which have been specifically supplied to the Department of Transport to keep Britain's motorways free of the worst effects of bad weather.

We have also supplied some 50 gritterlsnowplough chassis to regional and borough councils to support their efforts on A and B class roads.
