Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE UK sales operation of Walter Alexander and Company, the Falkirk-based coachbuilder, has a new manager. Ian Murray is appointed sales and marketing manager, joining the company with 18 years' truck and bus industry experience.

Murray's main responsibilities will be to increase the company's bus and railcoach business and introduce new products in the mini and midibus sector.

His appointment follows that of Wesley Keys, the company's managing director, to the board of the Walter Alexander Group. Keys, who moved from Leyland's Park Royal bus plant after it closed in 1980 to head Alexander's Belfast operation, has held his present post for two years.

• Last week we inadvertently carried a photograph of Wesley Keys over a story on the appointment of Barry Childs as head of the bus and coach parts operation of Carlyle Works, part of the National Bus Company. We apologise for our mistake.
