George's efforts to see it all come true are apparently not helped too much by the title of his section of London University—the Department for Extramural Studies. You know, and I know, that it means a department dealing with those "outside the walls"— mostly part-timers. But it seems he gets an awful lot of phone calls from people wanting courses on wall decoration, plumbing and garden layouts!
