THE latest improvement incorporated in bulk containers made by N. Tamplin and Co. Ltd., Birdham, Chichester, Sussex, is the fitting of the petrol-engine hydraulic unit used to operate the tipping rams in its own compartment in the side of the container.
For some time Tamplin has offered a petrol-engine hydraulic unit as an alternative to a power take-off driven pump but this was mounted on the base frame. The new location for the unit means that the space between the headboard and the front of the container is reduced.
