Business at the summer shows should be more brisk this year if the hopes entertained for agricultural improvement, as a result of the new tariffs, show signs of realisation. The show season opens at the beginning of May, and it must be borne in mind that the dates for receiving machinery entries in connection with any of these, and the Royal Show in July, close in March.
