Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Commercial vehicle enforcement is to be scrutinised by the Parliamentary Select Committee on Transport in the autumn.

The all-party team of MPs is expected to focus on vehicle offences and the work of the Vehicle Inspectorate.

The committee will cross examine a number of witnesses, probably including VI chief executive Ron Oliver, before producing a report early next year for the Transport Secretary Brian Mawhinney.
