GRAMPIAN Regional Council convener Councillor John Sorrie is to open the threeday road transport exhibition and conference CVX '85 which gets under way in Aberdeen on June 25.
The event combines an exhibition of the latest vehicles, trailers, components and accessories from more than 50 commercial vehicle manufacturers and dealers with a conference which will focus on topical issues and future trends in road transport.
A major paper in the conference programme will be given by Patrick Dempsey, project manager of Dundee Ferries, and will examine the new ro-ro ferry service his company is set to launch on July 1.
Organiser, Don-Mor Productions of Aberdeen, which is presenting CVX '85 in association with the Freight Transport Association, has also set up a variety of other attractions.
