Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW stopping material—Belco NEW 1-1.

P083-44—has been introduced by I.C.I., Ltd. Main advantages are said to be that it is suitable for use on clean, bare metal as well as over previously painted surfaces, and is extremely economical.

Other claims for the new product are that it is easy to apply, dries out quickly and can be flattened down to a silkysmooth surface without losing adhesion at the edge of the flattened area. As it is a nitrocellulose product it keeps well in the tin without skinning. Stocks are available from the sole distributors, Brown Brothers, Ltd., and Thomson and Brown Brothers, Ltd.
