reverse side. The batteries are mounted transversely behind the cab, and, because of the frame shortening, the compressed-air tank has been suitably altered and an auxiliary unit added below.
This tractor, which will be operated in Nigeria, is equipped with a 15-ton, two-wheeled pole trailer with lock holes
for adjusting the wheelbase from 12 ft. to 22 ft. 3 ins, in five steps. The trailer, built by the British Trailer Co., Ltd., London, S.W.6, has twin springs on each side of the axle, and Girling brakes with air operation.
The swivel bolster attached to the prime mover is also supplied by the British Trailer Co., Ltd.
