Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Commercial Recovery managing director Terry Williams believes the Volvo/CF Holmes outfit is the first eight-wheeler with a gross weight of 30 tons to be fitted with a Holmes 750 Wrecker.

Valued at £35,000 for the complete vehicle, the chassis was supplied by Ailsa Trucks, of Heathrow, and the wrecker built by CF /Holmes factory at Dereham, Norfolk.

An eight-legger was chosen by Commercial Recovery to provide the necessary stability to lift maximum weight vehicles.

Although the recovery gear is nominally rated at 10 tons, Mr Williams believes it has a maximum lift and tow capacity of 20 tons.

In future, Commercial Recovery vvill be able to offer complete Wreckers from the CF/Holmes range, ready for the road. This, it is hoped, will reduce the waiting time for a new recovery vehicle.
