THE Scottish motor show at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, in November, will see the debut of the '12 version of the RollsRoyce 290 engine.

As with the 265L, the 290L has had the maximum speed dropped from 2,100 to 1,900rprn while' retaining the same power output of 216kW (290bhp).

This has had the effect of raising the maximum torque to 1,100Nm (8761bft) at 1,25Orpm.
