• The RHA and FTA have declined an invitation by the National Guild of Transport Managers to nominate representatives to serve on the working party investigating driver accommodation. The trade associations said they were already involved in a similar survey.
The TGWU has, however, accepted a similar invitation and will be represented by Mr K. H. Jackson.
Chairman of the NGTM working party is Mr W. Heathcote, transport manager of Henry Ashwell and Co Ltd, New Basford, Nottingham.
