• The Department of the Environment is circulating draft plating and testing regulations ' which consolidate amendments that have been made since the plating and testing scheme began two years ago. It is expected that the new regulations will come into operation in April 1971 and it is understood that the draft contains one or two minor alterations to existing regulations. Details of the draft will be published in next week's CM.
