A SATURDAYS-ONLY stage carriage I-1 service between Edinburgh and the new town of Glenrothes is proposed by Scottish Omnibuses Ltd. and W. Alexander and Sons (Fife) Ltd. Their application will be heard in Edinburgh on January 20.

The two applicants were granted services across the Forth Road Bridge to Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and Leven, following the opening in October. The proposed new service would also use the Forth Road Bridge and is a direct result of that opening.
