LOCAL authorities in the area are J—lexpected to oppose a clause in Walsall Corporation's new Parliamentary Bill giving the council power to apply direct to the Minister of Transport for permission to extend trolleybus services outside the borough. Proposed extensions have at present to be submitted to Parliament in a special Bill.
