THE charge made by British Road I Services to Lindsey County Council for haulage work done in connection with the flood disaster was stated at a recent meeting of the highways committee to be 10 per cent. higher than the rates to local hauliers. It was said that the B.R.S. rates were accepted by the Ministry of Works.
• The county treasurer and surveyor of Lindsey will endeavour to obtain a reduction.
