• Cory Environmental has won the six-year/21m contract to operate refuse collection services for Lincoln City Council. The contract will also cover street cleaning, vehicle maintenance, recycling and trade waste.
• Temperature control group Fullers Logistics has won a two-year distribution contract with Mars Confectionery. Fullers has invested 22m in 1 0 new tractors and trailers that will operate From its new distribution centre in Bicester.
• Railfreight Distribution has clinched a one-year contract with A>' esHrri Newspric to transport reels of print from its mill in Kent to Europe. Each train will carry up to 1,000 tonnes of rewsprint reels.
• A 234m funding agreement for the construction of a freight village and distribution park at Wakefield Europort has been reached between AMEC Developments and Hermes Property Asset Management.
• Central Trailer Rentco has announced a five-year contract hire deal with Frigoscandia Distribution for 10 tri-axle reefers. The deal includes full maintenance and roadside assistance.
• Ryder has won an eightyear contract-hire agreement to supply four new 1 7tonne Scania P93 flatbeds for Accrington-based Robert Nicholas Steels.
