By Chris Tindall AN ASHBOURNE, Derbyshire haulage company has had a winding-up petition presented against it by HM Revenue & Customs just two months after it created a new business from the same premises.

TJ Twigg Haulage, which has a licence authorising nine vehicles and six trailers out of two operat ing centres, will be the subject of a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice on 12 December, where a decision could be made to wind up the business.

However, in the meantime, VOSA records show that directors Timothy and Karen Twigg have an application in progress for a new licence in the name of T Twigg Haulage, for ive vehicles and ive trailers, with the same Smith Hall Lane address. CM contacted the company, but it has so far declined to comment.

Companies House records show that in August, Aldermore Invoice Finance created a debenture as security on TJ Twigg Haulage.
