Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Merceces-Benz's heavyweight Unimog range has been given a new engine: the six-cylinder 0M366 range of power units in turbocharged and naturally-aspirated forms. The lightweight 1150 model gets a completely new cab, and there have been some changes to the axle ratios on all models.

The 0M366 engines are already fitted to the Mercedes light trucks from 7.5 to 17tonnes gross weight. In naturally-aspirated form the unit gives 75kW (102kW) at 2,400rpm, and 350Nm between 1,500 and 1,800rpm. Mercedes says this represents a 17.3% increase in torque over a bigger rev range.

The turbocharged unit gives between 92kW (125hp) and 115kW (156hp) at 2,400rpm, depending upon the application, and the claimed torque in

creases are between 15.8% and 18.1%.

The new engines are part of a process by which the Unimog range is "falling into line with the truck range", and a price increase of around 7% across the board has already been implemented.

There will be 11 different models imported to the UK, including only one example of the lightweight range, the newlycabbed 1150 model.

There are eight basic models of the heavyweight all-terrain Unimog, and two further wheelbase options on the largest 1750.
