Birkenhead Town Council is to consider a motion for the purchase of 13 more motorbuses. The tramways manager has reported as to the necessity for making further purchases, and the tramways committee proposes the purchase of ten more double-deck vehicles for £16,500 and three additional specialtype buses for £3,525. The purchase of a new motor ambulance, to cost £835, is also proposed by the watch committee.
