By arrangement with the Ministry of Transport, every comniercial vehicle driver when applying for a licence or for the renewal of a licence will in future be supplied, free, with a booklet compiled by the National "Safety First" Association, with the assistance of the Royal Automobile Club, the Automobile Association and the Commercial Motor Users Association.

The booklet is entitled "Safe Motoring" and is put up in a. handy pocket-book form. It summarizes road information of value to the driver, and concisely deals with the main sources of accidents aud means by which they can be avoided.
