The European Commission vants UK insurance policies to pay out for iNuries suffered by cyclists and pedestrians as in other EU countries, even when it is established that the driver is not to blame. "While pedestrians and cyclists may be the cause of some accidents, vehicles cause most accidents. Whoever is responsible for the accident, pedestrians and cyclists usually suffer more in accidents involving vehicles," says the directive.
