HE 1976 Tipper Convention viii take place at Harrogate rom April 30 to May 3. This las been decided following vhat the convention secretary VIr W. Farnorth described as ' the outstanding success of he 1975 conference" which vas held there last month.
It attracted 270 delegates, vhich was a modest increase rn the 1974 figure, despite the act that the event had to be switched from Blackpool almost at the eleventh hour. The organisers estimate that over 2,000 non-delegates visited the vehicle exhibition.
It is understood that Harrogate and Blackpool were equally favoured. The possibility is that the 1977 conference which is likely to have a strong European flavour will be held at Blackpool.
