LANCASHIRE CRUSHING has taken delivery of one of the first new Mega low-loaders in the UK from Faymonville; it has been running a used Variomax trailer from the Continental trailer maker since 1997.
The new model features a single-axle "free swing" dolly and front loading ramps, made to Lancashire Crushing's design.
According to LC's Peter Slater the trailer's tare weight is low, thanks to its high-tensile steel construction.
