AFORMAL verdict of not guilty was returned by Sheriff-substitute J. C. Bonnar at Greenock Sheriff Court, after the procurator-Fiscal had intimated that he was not proceeding with the evidence in a case in which a bus conductress denied a charge of overcrowding in a bus at Port Glasgow.
The relevancy of the charge had been disputed.
