IN THE brief details of special passenger chassis and vehicles on the British market, which appeared in our Passenger Vehicle Number, we omitted to refer to the well-known Lands vehicles marketed in this country by the Curtis Automobile Co., Ltd., 18; Berkeley Street, London, W.1.•

The chassis used for the passenger models is the 24-ton Tetraiota type, which is admitted by all users to be one of the best coach chassis on the road.

The chassis has a 35 h.p. engine, driving through a. multiple dry disci clutch to a four-speed gearbox, and thence via a propellee.shaft to a straight bevel gear in the rear axle The brakes consist of a large-diameter firma on the transmission and internal-expanding shoes in the rear wheels. Full.: loaded, a speed of 36 m.p.h. is easily attainable.
