Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A Worcestershire haulier who did not to inform the Licensing Authority that he had been sent to prison after being convicted of burglary, has had his licence revoked Donald Lunn, trading as Lunns Transport, of Upper Crossgate Road, Park Farm North, Reclditch, held on international licence for 16 vehicles and 10 trailers.

West Midland Deputy LA Alan Baurlet said Lunn, trading as D&D Haulage, had been granted a licence in December 1992. In 1994 he merged that business with that of M & S Light Haulage. Information had come to light that Lunn had been arrested for burglary at Cradle), Heath and that he had been sentenced to two years imprisonment at Wolverhampton Crown Court Lunn had been asked whether he wanted to make any representations, possibly through a third party, but there had been no response.

Revoking the licence with immediate effect, Bourlet said he was not making any disqualification order. Should Lunn himself, or anyone connected with the business, make an application for a fresh licence, it would be heard at a further pubic inquiry.
