The Japanese manufacturer launched its reptaceMckM f9ir, erstar heavy van The new van, which will come to the UK by mid-2011, is based on the new Master from alliance partner Renault, although with heavily revised front-end styling to give it a distinctive look.
Specification details were thin on the ground from Nissan executives at the show, but NV400 is expected to be offered in the same frontand rear-wheel-drive versions as the Master, and to be offered in the same extensive range of body heights and lengths as its French counterpart.
This is a sector of the market where, with Interstar, we have not fully maximised our position," said Tony Lewis, corporate sales director at Nissan GB. "The new NV400 gives us a product that will fulfil our customer requirements. The styling of the NV400 has clear Nissan DNA, and further areas of differentiation from our alliance partners will be announced as we bring the product to market in the middle of next year."

ger car version of the NV200 van and the extension of the in-cab package Nissan Connect, which includes satnav, Bluetooth and MP3 capability, to the commercial vehicle range.
