Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RE THE letter about rail bridges (CM16 September), Goss Moor rail bridge on the A30 trunk road near Bodmin, Cornwall is notorious: two years ago, one of our vehicles, which has a crane mounted on it, hit this bridge by a mere four inches. The camera did not detect this as over-height, and our driver was heavily fined and given nine points on his licence.

Now he has been caught by a speed camera on this trunk road doing 48mph which could mean him losing his licence. If I have to lose this very good driver, what will it cost the country in employment benefits? What is it all coming to? A Gorman Director, Gorman Haulage Dawlish, Devon
