Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The latest product from Isuzu Is for van drivers in a hurry. The Trooper Commercial is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel using the Caterpillar HEUI-A system as recently described by CM (2Sept). This variation on common-rail technology allows the four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve engine to produce 157hp (117kW)

at 3,9011rpm with 333Nm (248Ibft) of torque at 2,000rpm.

A rnre-speed, dual-range transmission is fitted, with four-wheel drive that can be selected on the move at up to 62mph. Suspension Is by wishbones and torsion bars at the front with a coil-sprung, fourlink live rear axle. Springs,

shock absorbers and anti-roll bars have been uprated and the track has been widened by 90mm from the previous model.

The Commercial is based on the latest SWB Trooper passenger car, it has a much rounder appearance than the previous design. The asymmetric rear door gives the choice of large or small opening to the 1.73m3 load space. The interior has luxury trim and is well equipped—standard spec includes power steering, tinted glass, pollen filter, seat-belt pre-tensieners and an engine immobiliser.

The Commercial comes with a three-year/80,000-mile warranty, including European roadside assistance and recovery. It costs £16,167 (ex-VAT).
