ITITH the load-carrying platform now V on the semi-trailer in ever increasing mbers, covered winter parking is a rity between journeys, and the semiiiler park can be open to all weathers. In rlier days, great care was taken of vehicle itforms prior to loading, and where gged or cased loads were to be moved it
quite a normal thing to sheet the empty itform when parked, and so guard against
danger of a damp floor and claims for maged goods which invariably followed.
